Early Childhood Education Jobs in Massachusetts
If Massachusetts’ new education coalition has their way, high-quality preschool education will be more readily available throughout the state which, for the state’s early childhood educators, spells opportunity.
The new coalition, comprised of faith, labor, community, and business groups, along with early educators and parents, are looking for ways to make preschool more affordable, extending hours for current early education and care programs, and increasing both pay and training for teachers. While still in its early stages, the coalition hopes to develop the plan and eventually get it signed into law, similar to the recently paid family and medical leave bill.
All of this is great news for Massachusetts educators, who already enjoy some of the best – and best-paying – opportunities in early childhood education in the country.
